I’m Louisa Olafuyi (née Kiwana), Co-founder and COO of Kunda Kids, a leading children's media company creating diverse, inclusive content, and co-creator of Kunda and Friends, the popular preschool animation that celebrates African culture and global citizenship.
With Ugandan roots and raised in the UK, I’m passionate about creating stories that reflect the world’s rich diversity, ensuring every child sees themselves in the content they consume. As a mother of three to twins and a neurodiverse child—I am personally invested in shaping experiences that empower all children to thrive, regardless of background or ability.
Drawing on my experience in innovation and product marketing, I’ve worked with major global brands like L'Oréal, BMW, Unilever, and the BBC. My expertise lies in reimagining educational and entertainment resources for today’s diverse, tech-savvy generation.
Working across London, Lagos, Kampala, and Nairobi, I tackle declining literacy rates and the lack of representation in children’s media through Kunda Kids and collaborations with organizations to nurture a new generation of globally conscious citizens.
